Brian K. Herman, Esq. is Of Counsel to the Firm. He is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. Mr. Herman practices special education law and criminal defense. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey. He has a unique passion for advocating for students and adults with special needs. He also helps New Jersey clients with special needs trusts and other estate planning needs.
Prior to law school Mr. Herman worked in Professional Golf Management. After law school he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable John T. Kelley, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey – Criminal Division. Mr. Herman is a trustee for the Camden County Bar Association, in New Jersey, and the Camden County Bar Association's charitable Foundation. He has organized golf outings and other charitable events to benefit students and youths in Camden County, New Jersey and the Southern New Jersey Area. Mr. Herman represents clients throughout New Jersey, including Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, New Brusnwick, Medford, Atlantic City, and Voorhees.

Mr. Becker's passion as an attorney practicing special education law is obtaining long lasting and effective solutions to a child's educational difficulties. He has helped several special education students, in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, receive effective educations, where the student is not only learning but also enjoying school and building successful social relationships. He has helped his clients negotiate with school districts to obtain outside help for the students from autism, behavioral, learning, and other disability specialists. When appropriate he has helped parents obtain an out of district Individualized Education Program (IEP) placement for their special education child. He has also stopped school district's from improperly removing special education students from mainstream or less restrictive educational placements.
Mr. Becker is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Pennsylvania State Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania State Bar Association's Legal Services for Exceptional Children Committee. Mr. Becker is a Trustee for the Camden County, New Jersey, Bar association. Mr. Becker has appeared as a guest on the television show Legally Speaking on the topics of New Jersey Special Education Law and New Jersey Criminal Defense. He has been invited to lecture to other attorneys and educational professionals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on Education Law, Special Education, Dyslexia, Bullying, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ADHD, student records and other issues related to special education.
Mr. Becker and his family live in Southern New Jersey. He is actively involved in the Southern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania communities and with national and local issues regarding Special Education Law, Special Needs Students, and the needs of the disabled. Mr. Becker spends his free time with his wife and two children and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. He is a Den Leader for a New Jersey Cub Scout pack.
In addition to maintaining his own firm, Mr. Becker is Of Counsel to the law firm of Gerstein Grayson Cohen & Melletz in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, assisting them in Special Education law, Criminal Law and related matters. Mr. Becker represents clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey including Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Mount Holly, Voorhees, Marlton, Mount Laurel, New Brunswick, Toms River, Bensalem, Jenkintown, Doylestown, and Philadelphia.

Mr. Becker and Mr. Herman are knowledgeable in special education services and the needs of special education students and disabled individuals as well as the relevant laws that apply to these areas. This allows them to effectively communicate with parents, examine educational records, in addition to being able to effectively cross-examine educational staff and litigate hearings for these matters. Over the years, this unique knowledge and ability have helped the firm obtain an excellent reputation within the New Jersey and Pennsylvania School Districts, along with opposing counsel. This allows us in many cases to quickly and effectively start productive dialogue with the School District or other entities in order to resolve an array of matters for our clients. In many cases, we have been able to successfully negotiate effective resolutions for a special education student’s without litigation or involving the court process. We also have we have been able to effectively compel School Districts and other entities to provide proper services by way of court action in cases where they are unwilling to engage in a cooperative effort with us to ensure the student or individual’s best interests. Craig David Becker, Esq. had severe reading and language disabilities, similar to dyslexia, as child. He overcame his learning disability and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was the recipient of a James Wilson Merit Scholarship. Mr. Becker began representing individuals while still attending law school and won his first not guilty verdict and suppression motion prior to graduation.
He is a former Assistant Public Defender for Chester County, Pennsylvania, where he represented defendants in high profile felony cases and other serious offenses. Mr. Becker also worked in the Public Defender Office’s Juvenile Division, where he represented minors in all facets of juvenile criminal law. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Becker worked as an associate for top New Jersey and Pennsylvania law firms, including one firm that represented several New Jersey school districts on special education and related educational issues
